oh only 7 years. We even cut it sometime in there. A good split ends clean-up

G. started growing out his hair when he was 9 yrs old. His ability to be true to himself grew, too. The kids on the bus called him afro-boy (& other stuff he wouldn't tell me) and threw foxtails in his ever-expanding locks.

Now that he's in high-school it's a chick magnet :)
I'll post some in the process pics next.

I love G's hair!!! I'm sure that it's a chick magnet, but his face doesn't hurt either! What a doll. The dreads look great too - I'm sure it's much easier to deal with now.

Love the hair. I can see how he's a chick magnet. Funny how something will get you tortured as a child, but get you attention from members of the opposite sex when you're a wee bit older.

OMG! THAT is something! My mum would have chopped it ALL off as i slept, if i'd grown mine to look like that. That makes you one cool mama!
