Cheeky Pop-Pops & the streets of San Francisco

San Francisco takes a lot navigationally. And that is an understatement.
So we're @ that stage where we can only hope that we will soon learn our way around. It's going to take something better than the dome light & mapquest....A GPS system would have been so futuristically bitchen. Only we rented the economy car. I think it cost more to park it overnight ($33!) than to rent it. The hotel was fun, especially the 16 trips on the elevator. G.'s audition went very well, especially the first song, so he said. G. also said the second song coulda went better but it sounded a lot smoother than the guy who went before him. Which is about as competitive as it gets around here. Anyway I look @ it, my kid's a success. Already.

San Francisco looks like a place that I'd like to visit. I wonder if the kids would enjoy it. Somehow I think it would be best explored as an adult, roaming around, looking at the architecture and enjoying the food.

oh good idea!

Pop-pops got the shit scared outta him on those reeallly steep roller coaster hills.
We would have to turn because of his sheer panic.

And this City has pranksters in it that Change the dang street signs from Geary to eeerie...and Hill St to Hell St.

Hey, gald you are back and in S.F. for G. which is killer. I used to live in Larkspir and had to cross the G. Gate Bridge every day to go to work. I miss it still. Marvelous, marvelous place.

Not to mention the steepness of the roads there, that was enough to do me in the last time I visited. Hope G was happy with his performance!! And did I mention Pop-pops is the cutest thing that ever lived?
