It was the end of the loaf...that last little blackened hope for toast.

So where you denied the peanut butter and honey toast that you so desired? It is sort of like a little toast mystery....

Sorry - I have the beginning of the flu and seem sort of off today : )

Yes! A Mystery.
Of the unsolved sort.
Did the German Shepherd gobble it on the deck? Did the cross eyed cat snatch it for a quick nibble under the quince tree?

The last I heard of that toast, it was smokin' in my hands. I gingerly (i've always wanted to use that word)extracted it from it's incinerating slot, secretly delighted to get into some toasty art therapy. All thoughts of peanut butter smeared outta my head.

I made the mistake of not striking while the iron (& the damn toast) was Hot! The digital camera was full...by the time I uploaded, the smoke was cleared and my toast was Gone!

Who took it? It couldn't have tasted very good. Charcoal seldom does...Who the hell would want it??

Besides Me...hmmmmm

Also:
Hope your flu is brief and merciful.
Plenty of liquids, dear fishy.
Plenty of Good Liquids :0]

That is brilliant. Perhaps it was not quite as charcoal-like as you imagined. Perhaps it was just the right amount of charcoal texture for a cross eyed cat (that is where my money is).

How sad to have missed a moment of art therapy. Peanut butter be damned, art is always better for the soul.

Oh a personal note - I am hoping that my spelling improves within the week...

Thanks - I have begun to drink large quantities of yerba mate tea...slurp...
